dancing in the streets

Wonderful! The words the picture, love.

Sirena Tales

unexpectedly connecting

watchers and the watched

blend

life, art

an ever changing rearrangement:

summer heat sizzles

crowds peopling

the tunes and fumes

of a subsuming cityscape

as we fall

run, twirl, pause

leap enthralled by

enthralling:

kaleidoscopic improvisation

This poem was inspired by the public art performance, “CrossWalk It,” of Elm City Dance Collective in the streets, sidewalks and crosswalks of New Haven, CT.
